Goals of The Conference
Recognizing that the needs of women are different than men throughout the treatment and recovery process, this is a statewide conference providing up-to-date information and research on (1) successful substance abuse treatment models for women, (2) the understanding of addiction as it relates to the family when the mother is the substance abuser and (3) special considerations when working with
pregnant substance abusers.
CEU Information and Accreditation
Social Worker - CEU’s applied for through the NASW-LA Chapter (Day 1 - 6.5hrs, Day 2 - 5.5 hrs)
Board Certified Substance Abuse Counselors/CIT - CAHSD is a Provider for the LSBCSAC
(Day 1 - 6.5 hrs, Day 2 - 5.5 hrs)
Nurses - 15.3 contact hours (Day 1 - 8.4 contact hours; Day 2 - 6.9 contact hours)
of continuing education credit are awarded for this continuing education
offering by Woman’s Hospital of Baton Rouge, an approved provider of
nursing continuing education by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing;
LSBN Provider Number 19.

$100.00 (Two Full Days - including one luncheon, breaks and conference materials)
