Louisiana State office of Addictive disorders Find Treatment in the state of Louisiana, Prevention services, regulatory information, general administrative, federal links, regional information for state services, this office is a division of DHH.

HNnote: Michael Duffy,  the acting state director of OAD, and friend to the recovering  community is committed moving forward efforts to maximize resources available, and working with communities, contact his office for information and questions regarding addiction in the State.  Very helpful office staff.

Louisiana Drug Court Professionals

Drug Courts-we know that incarceration is the ultimate result of many suffering from addiction, here you will find the trade association for those working to bring much needed treatment services to those facing incarceration or legal actions as a result of untreated addiction.  Very helpful resource for Parish break out of services available.

HNnote:  Drug Courts, fall under the wing of the Louisiana Supreme Court.  Funding varies as do programs parish by parish.
