NCJFCJ has been working since 1969 to improve the way the court system responds to families in situations of violence. This organization focuses on judicial education and develops guidelines for best practice by family and juvenile courts. This site allows you to search statutes by state, locate training services, and provides the latest family violence publications.

In addition, NCJFCJ publishes quarterly the Juvenile and Family Court Journal. The Fall 2003 issue was devoted solely to the issue of domestic violence and child custody determination.
