S.T.E.P.S. is an 18 bed non-medical,
social detoxification
facility, licensed by the Department of Health and Hospitals as a
Social Detoxification Program for indigent clients that are
dependent on alcohol or other drugs. S.T.E.P.S. program is
designed to assist persons in the very difficult first days of
withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs. Referral to a
treatment program is arranged following the completion of the
Detox program.
