Does George Brown own your Representative? Did you know George Brown has been the leader of the Louisiana Alcohol Lobby for 50 years? Did you know he's been to jail for his illegal practices? Did he use his illegal operation to pay-off your Representative? Do you think Religious and Community leaders are aware of this practice? Even "dry" areas of the state have Representatives loyal to the Alcohol Lobby!

First, I will pass on this message of hope via e-mail. Second, I will write to both my state representative and senator requesting their support in our efforts. Third, I will speak for the HopeNet speakers bureau when requested. Fourth, I will attend as many rally's community events in support of this vision as possible. Finally, with your help and the help of HopeNet the SOJOURN foundation will build a private accredited drug and alcohol free college in the Baton Rouge area where people in recovery can, through their efforts, achieve a college degree moving toward a counseling position or a degree in secondary education so that we are seeding the country with bou coup, recovering counselors and teachers. SOJOURN supports HopeNet!
